Although digital audio has taken over the mainstream, there are still many audiophiles who stick with analog. Unfortunately, although vinyl records have made a small comeback over the years, there has never really been a way to create your own unless you owned a pressing plant. The PHONOCUT Home Vinyl Recorder is a Kickstarter project that aimed to address this situation by giving anyone the ability to make their own records at home with just the push of a button. You don't even need any technical background to make use of this device either as it is extremely simple.

The PHONOCUT Kickstarter asked backers to pledge €199,999 goal to get the project on the go, but this total was more than doubled to €458,689 thanks to nearly 400 backers. The sheer novelty factor alone in creating your own vinyl records is through the roof. It will finally provide analog fans with a way to preserve their music in a unique way that would otherwise be unattainable.

There is still a long wait ahead before proud PHONOCUT owners will be able to increase their vinyl collections, but in the meantime, check out the official website for more information about what to expect.
