ARP Quadra strings and some Moogish bass (or Pro-One, not sure) and some lovely resonant Voyetra chords (that I've programmed to a certain similar sound on my juno106..

The strings and chords/pads on the original version are Quadra and Prophet 5 respectively. Later on when they got the Voyetra's they used one for chords and leads and the other for sequencing.

I recently restored a Sequential Prophet 2002 sampler - amazingly you can still buy the very same front panel switches from RS - not bad for a 25 year old design! I replaced all 26 switches and the floppy drive and gave it a realy good clean. The net result is amazing, in fact a friend came round the other night and thought it was new!

The Prophet 2002 is lovely - it might only have 512/1024K of RAM but like the EIII it also has analog resonant filters and a superb stack function along with a great arpeggiator. This one is never leaving my studio! :)

Hi, I searched for those switches on the RS site but did´nt find them there. Farnell has them: http://uk.farnell.com/omron-electronic- ... /dp/176451 but its only the black ones.

Did you find knobs as well?

It is true that Farnell only sell the black ones with and without leds - you have two options - either buy the blue ones from DigiKey OR carefully lever the blue tops off the originals and fit them to brand new black ones - this is what I did with mine as it's the contacts that fail - not the key tops.

Sadly it seems that SCI's official parts supplier, Wine Country, have sold out of original Prophet 2K/VS knobs.
