hi, did korg make a rack version of the monopoly?

No. Rack synths didn't become commonplace until after MIDI.

I believe Korg's first rack mount/desktop synth was the EX-800.

It'd be pretty difficult to modify a MP-4 into a rack. The MP-4's control panel is 28" wide by 10" deep. I haven't seen the inside of the synth, but I would get there a PCB that is just under 28" that has all the pots mounted to it.

The pots are mounted on three separate PCB's.
And since it has a 8x6 switch matrix for the 44 key keyboard, a MIDI retrofit would be relatively simple to do too.

But most people wont bother to make a rack from a good unit.. maybe a badly externally damaged one with good guts would be a good candidate.
