:lol: Funny you should mention that. I was going to speculate that after surprising everyone by joining the analog renaissance, they were going to lead the way even further and go electromechanical. A Clavinet reissue would be nice. But I don't think they're going to do any reissues. How about a tonewheel synth? :mrgreen:

Just a wandering thought but... perhaps something with which to use the beatstep? A synth? Maybe in module format rather than having a keyboard? Not sure hmm...

Maybe not from Arturia, though. How about a NovaKorg? They're already reissuing designs from other companies. Hey, we can dream, can't we? And actually, I think part of the original Novachord was electromechanical. Can anyone verify?

I could be mistaken, but I believe the only electromechanical component was the scanner vibrato; the oscillators were tube-based.

That's what I thought. I remember the oscillators being tube based. I just couldn't remember which part was electromechanical. Okay, at least I know I'm not going senile.
