Roland Juno 106 or Yamaha DX7 IID

New to synthesizers...
A person on Craigslist is selling both of the synths mentioned above, he is selling the Yamaha for $500, and the Roland for $750 (needs new battery but works fine). I thought it would be good to have a true analog synth to play alongside my other keyboards. Currently I have a Korg R3 and a Kurzweil K2000 VP. I don't know too much about the 2nd generation DX7.

If you want a 'true analog synth' to play alongside your other keyboards then it's going to be simple: the Juno-106.

The DX7 is a digital synths. ;)

That DX7 is a bit overpriced imo, I see them often go for ~$250-$300, on the other hand, $750 for a Juno 106 is a pretty great price! If you are new new to synthesis and want to learn about creating your own sounds, Juno 106. If you just want another keyboard alongside your other keyboards, the DX7 will be able to create a wider variety of sounds but is a PITA to program. Personally I'd take the Juno, but that's just me. Great lush analog sounds.
