Ridiculously overpriced, but it's the very first Synton Syrinx.

The Syrinx is a very unique synth because of the filter section. There are 2 resonant band pass filters and a 24 dB lowpass filter which you can change the routing. There's also a very cool touch pad which can control pitch bend and modulation. There is no other synth I can think of that has a filter section like this. To do this with a modular would take a ton of modules and even then you wouldn't have the convenient switch to swap the routing around.

I just thought that was funny. 3 filters = a ton of modules? Certainly not $7k worth, right?

Ha, just say it's a really cool collector's piece. Don't try and convince me it's a good price :D

Jesus christ... Ebay really want to screw themselves over as much as possible. Whereas before, you could conveniently look at all electronic music equipment in one catch-all category, they've now disseminated it into the "appropriate" categories, e.g., synths are now in "pro audio equipment" and drum machines are in a totally different "drums>electronic percussion" category! It's literally like going back in time. Why do these companies feel the constant need to change what already works perfectly well?!

I guarantee they will not make as many sales this way... how many times were you scrolling through looking for one thing, and happened upon something else? I, for one, cannot be fucked to pick out all these different categories just to browse stuff.

I imagine I'm not the only one this would irritate, so feel free to send them a comment as to how much it sucks!
Do you even post on vse bro?

Yo man, do you really think they do care of you - not of their profits?
I've recently had a rather pleasant time hearing a ebay person at a software conference here (hey, it was Russia/Siberia) trying to explain why they had removed the wildcard search...

I don't like the drums, but the drums like me!
