It's a cool synth and I love mine but... I wouldn't pay this much:

"Insert cool Synthi 100 action here"

Explain this to an Ebay retardo like myself (never used it, don't have an account)

The buy it now price is $68,661.00 and according to that picture the highest bid is exactly that. But that can't be can it 'cause then it would have already sold and the auction ended,no ?

I see there's 2 bids on it but since i don't have an account i can't see them. Or are they secret like i bid maximum 5000$ for it which in turn the seller can refuse since he want's at least ,say 10000$ for it.

So we really can't tell anything about this so far but have to wait and see if it sells and then possibly see what it goes for.

I'm just curious as the one in USA that they wanted 60k for never sold as i understand it.

the forum's ebay listing inserts don't show buy it now prices, even if that's all that's available. BIN price or auction, they display it as the "current bid" even if no bids have been placed. that listing is also accepting offers, which is different from placing a bid. you can view the status of offers if you have an account and are logged in, but in that listing they've also opted for them to be kept private.

I've always wanted one of these, but what are they really worth? Someone in my area has had one for sale forever, and they want at least a few hundred for it, whereas I'm maybe willing to go just over 100. Still, it would be great to have the grandaddy of all drum machines sitting in your living room.

i totally dig how our ears can hear all this shit and and we don't even do like half of it with normal instruments, and then all we gotta do is hook a speaker up to some circuits and move those circuits around and we can push our hearing to it's limits

T'was here in Dallas earlier today, too, along with some cheap Fantom G7 & G8. Listings are gone now.

16,034.00 for an ARP 2600? And thats the USD adjusted start for the opening bid for the 2600, honestly are they really getting that expensive?
