yeh, it's an out of focus iMac
I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

I want a real PPG Wave 2.x :( I've played enough with the Blofeld and the Waldorf Nave to know my way around a wavetable synth quite well. Wish I could try the real thing with all its arcane computer interface and hex codes.

Me too. I had the pleasure of playing around with one about 10 years ago in a music store. Nothing has ever made quite the same impression on me as that synth. I have been out of the loop for a while and want to get my studio back up and running and I though hey I bet those wave synths from 10 years ago are going cheap now days. Hahaha they cost more now than when new. Sure would be awesome to have one though such a unique sounding instrument.

They're not Hex Codes, but sort of look like it. They're abbreviations: usually the first letter is a modulation source, the 2nd letter is the destination and the number is a value. For instance, KW7 is "Keyboard", "Wave" and highest value - the starting position of the wavetable is now dependent on what keys is played.

Microwave XT with Monstrumeditor is like a digital Waveterm+PPG combo. Much cheaper as well. (compared to Wave and PPG)

Monstrumeditor allows the XT to sample?
