Roland S330 System & Utilities Disks - Help!

Postby gunark » Fri Jun 06, 2008 11:46 pm

've won an S330 from the bay and want to use it with basic tones from my analogue gear and knock up some interesting stuff with its monitor interface. I'm gonna source an MSX mouse but I can't find the system and utils disks in a friendly format anywhere. I've seen them on the S-Group archives but they are in HQX then DART format. OSX can do HQX but says dart has no filesystem

I really want to get this going as it was a barg and apparently has top filters so does anyone know either -

Where I can find the S330 system and utils disks in an OSX or PC friendly format, even disk images?

or

Can tell me how to get the DART images onto floppy on either OSX or XP.

Thanks a million!

p.s. that's one thing with old gear, especially samplers, that standards disappear. I have an Emu e64 too and took a while to locate a CDROM that it liked, and then longer still to buy a Centronics SCSI to Centronics SCSI lead! Mind you now I have an Apple CD300 which seems pretty universal for many samplers but man, is that thing a brick!
