another mirror: http://alexmauer.com/dl/FAIRLIGHT%20CMI ... IBRARY.zip

i emailed you about this... i have other fairlight disks which were not part of the original library in IMD format... are you interested in converting them as well? the disks have names like: dreams, linndrum, linnstuf, simmons1, orch1 - this all sounds interesting to me and i always wondered what was on these disks

Thanks! Mirror added to the OP.

The disks you speak of, they are the ones found here right?

I tried a couple of those, dreams.imd and another one. CMIOS9 did not recognize them unfortunately.
I'll take a look at more, let's hope at least some of them can be exported.

Let's celebrate with some of Trevor Horn's excellent 12" remixes of Frankie. These were uploaded by Hashmoder, you should all check out his outstanding blog dedicated to vinyl rips of rare 12" versions http://www.hashmoder.com/. To quote him:

I want you to listen to these tracks carefully all the way through … in front of big, beefy stereo speakers:

:dancer:

A bit belated as it were, but I just wanted to thank you for this post specifically. Huge admirer of Trevor Horn's work. Also, a mighty cheers for your work done here. Exemplary.

Thanks silikon! If you like those mixes, you should check out ZTTs The Art Of The 12" Vol.1 + 2, if you haven't already done so. You will find these, and more awesome 12" Frankie mixes, as well as Art of Noise, Scritti Politti, Propaganda, etc!

Excellent set of CDs!
