akai s2000 and ibm 208 question.

Postby nuketifromorbit » Thu Oct 25, 2012 5:26 pm

I finally sold my s2000 to some guy on ebay, but now hes saying I misrepresented the item because I didn't include the eight out expansion. According to this fellow, the ibm-208 was included in the stock akai s2000. When I purchased this thing it definitely was not included. I did later purchase an ibm 208 and sold it to a member here. I've already read the manual and its rather vague as to whether or not the ibm 208 had to be purchased separately. The description of the sampler here at VSE seems to indicate that I'm right and it was an option, not an included feature. So is this guy full of it or what?
We'll always be remembered, we'll always be dismembered.

Sound on Sound says no.

If you listed a clear picture of the back, then it's whatever because he could have looked at the photo. I've run into this issue with people listing stuff as stock and it be missing pieces that come with it, so now I ask, just to make sure.

No, meaning the additional outputs were not included as stock.

Definitely not stock. The vast majority of them sold on ebay do not have the 8 out expansion board. This guy is jerking you around.
