Yes, that's where it is. Just that the battery leads are soldered from the underside of the board. I know some owners cut or twist the flat leads off of the old battery and solder the new battery to them - so you don't have to remove the board. Personaly, I think that is a sloppy way of doing things and would throw a F-in' fit if a tech did that on one of my synths.
