Yes it's a good call....I am trying to localize the fault first but i am being pushed into that corner..I want to try everything to avoid wholesale chip changing.

I have really investigated this problem and i am now convinced it's the power supply.

This was a 110v and a new 220 v transformer has been fitted.

Does anyone know the specs for the original transformer...?
