Now Vs. Now

Postby meatballfulton » Thu Jan 30, 2014 4:22 pm

Jazz pianist Jason Lindner has a trio called Now Vs. Now that might interest a few ears here.

They are part of the movement reevaluating 70s fusion sounds. Following in the footsteps of Herbie, Chick, Jan Hammer and Zawinul, there's lots of Moog and DSI action plus Rhodes and Wurly.

If you dig vintage fusion, trip hop or the Canterbury vein of prog, give them a listen.

I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.
