Yamaha DX200 - PC editor

Postby Villi » Thu Feb 14, 2008 12:08 pm

I just picked up an DX200, and I like it quite a bit, but I can't seem to find the pc editor for it. I look at Yamaha's website, but all I can find is some kind extention to some other program. Is this the only editor? Does this mean I need some other program to instal the pc editor?

Also, can someone point me to some good DX7 patches? Particularly EPs.

you can get the editor here, but you might also need the XGworks as the host.
You can get many patches and useful material and info for the DX7 here:

XGWorks can be found here.
I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

Sadly that archive appears to be damaged (The XGworks one) :(

No, the archive is fine. It installs but when you go to run it complains about a missing DLL, that's a WinXP thing that's fixed in the Yamaha updater.

Install the updater (also found at that same link) on top of it and you should be OK.
