i like mine alot.
its very gritty sounding, it can take a while to get the band levels right. but it sounds great when you do :)
even just the filter is great for giving anything a bit of lo-fi charm, i put some vsti's through it occasionally.

it's crap.

The svc-350 is many many times better, so much that it's worth the high prices.

I would rather go digital before getting another MAM vocoder, there are plenty of other ways to get grundgy vintage sound.

You can't understand what you're saying through the MAM, well maybe just barely if you tweak it a lot.
