Oberheim Obxa Knobs

Postby Ambient Version » Wed Nov 17, 2010 4:25 am

HI all,

I was wondering how these knobs are kept on.
Do they have caps that come off or are they tightened from beneath?

Thanks!

I recall you have to pop the little knob top off, and then unscrew the internal shaft.
Do you even post on vse bro?

Hello Sir Ruff,

The cap shows no sign of propping. Weird. I don't want to force it. I was hoping to find a few knob replacements.

The knobs pull off with a little more effort than before.

The main synth knobs are just push on. The ones on the pitch bender section are fitted with a cap and a nut so that when you pull them up in the switch position they dont come off....

Hi,

Thanks. Nice set up. I see that they're d type shafts. I'm looking to find some new replacements. I've been looking through what Mentor Germany has. The collet knobs. warm, but not a match so far
