so i'm debating making an offer on this. am just torn on whether or not it'd be worth it... anyone have one? if so what's your take? not worth it without more modules (ie a second VCO...)? nice addition to another modular rig? or should i just fight off temptation & stick w/ euro?

honestly, given you could get a decent 5 module one for ~$2000 fairly recently (maybe still), I wouldn't bother (unless you can get him down a few hundred). These are already grossly overpriced and not going to surpass current euro stuff in any area except maybe the oscillators? Think this one in particular is destined for some collector.
Do you even post on vse bro?

Ballsiest oscillator ever, probably, but I've heard other newer stuff that was just as special sounding such as MOTM. The sliders fill up with dust. And the keyboard interface has definitely been used. And what's with all the un screwed screws?

re: keyboard interface, tough to tell, does look worn in spots, but the modules do look like they're new...

re: screws, are those at the top of the modules not an element in arranging them w/ the panels? don't the faceplates stick up above the top of the housing?

As an addition to your euro and other CV gear I can't see why not if you like the sound, especially if you can get them at a good price. Takes up a lot of space for what it is though IMHO. I like my other Roland gear (SH-7, Juno 60, MC202 w/Asol mods) well enough already and interface with it so I'm not in the market for the 100m or 100 unless they were some hilariously cheap local sale.

They're missing from the case of keyboard interface. I guess you're right about the rack.

no worries bhrama. i actually did see it in my saved searches before you shared it on here. and i'm backing off on this one, if i wind up wanting to add a 100m rig to my mess i'd be better off getting a 5 space w/ a 112, 121 & 150.

Good, save some dough for the home brewery! Your next batch can be VSE-IPA, pure analog 9.5% alc. ;)
