Price check: Roland SH09

Postby sqweebking » Wed May 18, 2011 7:21 pm

Found one for sale on a local CL ad for $700 is this too much? I haven't found any recently completed eBay listings for one yet. The most recent price thread on here for one is from 2008. What do you think? Seems like it's top dollar but seller says it's in excellent shape.

Thanks

i'd say that's pushing it, but so many synths' prices are rising of late...
it's better than the one on ebay for a grand.

IMHO, $500 is about that tops I would pay for one.

I'm going to take a look at it after work, of it's as flawless as he states I'll probably go for it. Should still be cheaper than eBay + shipping. I'm a sucker for anything I can pick up..

a lot of that list is complicated and/or totally off though, unless there's something i'm missing. ie the last one having sold in the US for $229.15, it was for parts and it didn't go for that price.

Have you been compiling these prices this whole time?! (I saw your obxa spreadsheet).

Off-hand, it doesn't look like there's been any major rise in their prices over the last few years.
Do you even post on vse bro?

Ended up getting it, when I bitched about the price being high he threw in an ESQ-1M for free. Whatever, I'm happy, he probably needs the money more than me anyway

Yes!
I made a software that search the eBay servers, show me what as fond, I mark the auction
and from now on the software classifies and tracks the auction.
Normaly it track about 500 auction per week.
Presently, since I want to buy a E-mu sampler so I'm only tracing E-mu and Emu and Oberheim and SCI and Alesis and Ensoniq and Kawai and Kurzweil ROMs and Casio CZ/VZ and ...
that's the problem of the application: G.A.S.

I'm sorry but do you mean the price is wrong?
No it is not :-)
225.15 € = 330.00 USD at the time the auction ended.
The software when refresh the auction "ask" the ECB for the exchange rate and convert the price
to Euros.
