Salvaged from a non-working unit. These buggers are really hard to find. I have:
2 x 50K audio taper pots (volume, tube gain, line/mic level)
6 x 10K linear pots
3 x 10K linear pots w/ center
1 x rotary encoder (effects selection switch)
If you're interested or are curious if something will fit, PM me!

I know you posted about the pots and rotary encoder years ago but i was wondering if you by any chance still had the rotary encoder or knew where some one could acquire one. I would greatly appreciate any help in finding the proper one for my em-1.

The part is no longer available from official Korg service. You probably knew that.
The only source now is scavenging from another unit, as the original poster did.
I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

I found someone in Austria who makes and sells rotary encoders; he installed it in a Casio CZ-101 and a Kawai K3m. My Poly-800 will definitely get one
. His website in in English; there is also a manual for the knob - scroll down to the bottom. http://synpro.heimat.eu/datadial.htm
Don't forget to TURN ON THE SYNTHESIZER. Often this is the reason why you get no sound out of it. - ARP 2600 manual, 1971
