Wanted: DSI Evolver waveforms (FOUND)

Postby Silverfish » Wed Dec 05, 2012 2:16 am

Does anybody around these parts know where I could obtain the waveform samples from the DSI Evolver?

I played a Poly Evolver over the weekend, and it blew me away. I flipped through the waveforms on the digital oscillators, and I instantly recognized some early NIN sounds (Prophet VS waves?). Since I won't have the money for PE for a long time, maybe the samples will tide me over.

Thanks for your help!

i don't know where you could get them, but they are the Prophet VS waves and I would assume that you could download the set from somewhere. Another consideration would be the Korg Legacy Wavestation as it too has the VS waves, plus the Wavestation is just a great synth. Although having a Wavestation A/D and Evolver still doesn't make me want a Prophet VS any less

I'll keep an eye out for the Prophet VS waves, maybe check out the Wavestation stuff.

I see you're in Iowa City. I grew up in Ft. Dodge. How's the Iowa City scene?

not that i'm in favor of this response BUT you could hand draw them in audacity. I couldn't quickly find any other answer with google.

here's the wave dump utility. not sure if it'll help.

I should have posted here sooner, but I FOUND THEM!

The Prophet VS waveforms are available in the download section on elektron-users.com I've only had a few moments to play with them, but they're exactly what I was looking for!

I searched the download section at elektron-users.com but I couldn't find the Prophet VS waveforms. Does anybody have a link?

thanks. In case anybody else tries to get these in the future you need to be registered for the Waveforms/Samples link to show up.
