This thing looks cool as fuck. I do not know necessarily what the implication is for my set up, but this has soem serious potential. Take a Virus or a NL with dick tons of voices and split mode(s) and you can easily play chords from multiple patches per unit easily. I guess immediacy is the key here? IDK just some initial thoughts. Being able to sequence polyphonic chords outside of a DAW is a major pain in the ass, and this is a low cost solution to it I guess.
I for one feel as if Jered is really thinking outside of the box here. We all complain about synth manufacturers being run of the mill same old shit type of products they release, while his last two releases seem to be filling gaps we didnt know we wanted filled. I think if he keeps coming up with truly innovative products, there will be some much more amazing than this. BTW this is an awesome product. The target market share from his perspective is the stay at home enthusiast, because thats where most of the sales will come from. This thing is 1) cheap and 2) powerful in what it does and what it offers to most guys, especially those who only have software or a bunch of VA racks. The genius thing about this is that it is easily conceiveable that it can easily be in any studio, big or small.
tl;dr- this guy is doing awesome work.
