Will a VP-330 make an RS-09 redundant?

Well, what do you think?

I want choirs and strings. Are the RS-09 strings very different from the VP-330's? I already have the RS. It also has that organ squarewave, but I don't know that I use it that often.

Pretty much.

I want VP-330 choir, too (already have a RS-505), but cannot justify spending $3K+ for a VP-330 just for that damn choir sounds (as cool as it does sound).

The Korg Lambda's choir is OK. Not as cool as the VP's, but the Lambda won't put you into debt.

Of course it will.
