Hey you crazy monkeys (like myself) using only Mac laptops....anybody seen this yet? A thunderbolt UAD interface for under $1000??

Looks like my Sweetwater card is gonna get some action!

I saw that! looks like MOTU & Zoom also put out thunderbolt interfaces at namm.
But the apollo twin... 2x in + 4x out and UAD processing for for $700-$900... my firewire duet is suddenly looking slightly old & crusty :lol:

terrible terrible, this advancement of technology is....

I'm still waiting for the $150 - $300 thunderbolt interfaces though...

Oh, I'm sure the new norm is going to be 'new' peripheral connections and existing 'new' peripheral connections becoming obsolete.
