I had one for over a year, just because of GAS. Well, it was a good price, slightly below the local market, so I figured why not? Used it a little, but didnt get the rewarding feeling I expected, so I quickly put it aside. When I sold it, the girl trying it out almost made me say "Forget it, I'll keep it!" because she really pushed it more than I did, so I discovered new sound & possibilities. But since she was already here and very interested by the synth, I thought I'd be shallow to stop the sale... At least, I got assured that it went to a good home, and even some gigs!
So if you think you have a good deal on a fully working one, I'd say go for it. Try it, and get messy with it! ou can always sell it back later. But if you're not absolutely sure it's in great shape, or you are tight on the money, then leave it...
