Help locating a sample CD

Postby bionary » Fri Jan 31, 2014 4:33 am

I have a sample CD called DSM Digital. It was engineered by Dan Schmidt. My problem is I cracked the CD and can no longer play or extract audio from it. Does anyone know where I can purchase another copy or does anyone have the CD? Thanks.

I have no clue, but what kind of instrument are the samples for?
Fairlight IIx (Mid-Life Crisis - cheaper than a Corvette!)
Roland JP-8, D-50, S-50, S-550(2x), S-760(2x), JX-3P, JD-800
EII, Emax II, Minimoog, ARP 2600, P-5 Rev.1 (broken...), Pro-One, Crumar Performer, K1m, K5m, MS-2000B, Virus KC, a few other things.

The instruments are mostly FM synth sounds with reverb, delay and distortion. What I'm trying to get are the percussion sounds. They are geared toward industrial sounds. The booklet that I have calls the CD the Digital Excellence Sample Collection. It states that it was produced in May 1990.

What sort of samples do you deliver? I have no idea about the instruments which the samples relate to. Probably, it may be connected with the sound management.
