Was the Audity 2000 expandable like the Proteus 2000?

No, it is not expandable. Also only 32 voices :(
I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

It had one expansion slot that had one expansion made for it Audity 2000 X-treme. Basically doubled the 16mb waveform data to 32mb with data from the moPhatt &orbit modules ( not 100%certain on the exact modules the expansion sounds came from). The other emu Roms don't work in the audity.

I'll stick another question to the thread: so, all original Audity samples are available on Xtreme Lead ROMs.
Did anybody have any success porting original Audity presets onto the Proteus 2K family machines? The yahoo group does not show much of anything in this regard...

@ vicd

Do you mean did emu bring out an Audity ROM for the Proteus?

Nay, they never did.
The issue is the original Audity presets could be converted to work on p2K machines with XLead ROM (a matter of some pretty generic shift in addressing the samples, as the XLead ROM sample set is essentially both of the Audity's ROMs in one pack).
But I fail to find anything ready-to-use (and, of course, I keep dreaming of "someone should have already had done the job, so I don't have to get again into all that clumsy SysX coding").
