Siel orchestra question

Postby sam » Fri Mar 14, 2014 8:09 pm

I have just finished restoring a orchestra 2....Is it correct that the animator stays on with the reed and string section.

I have the OR400 which I'm attempting to fix at the moment too; I can't answer your question but I can offer you the schematics/service manual if you don't already have them.

Possibly; I do know that ensemble synths/string machines have a tendency to be somewhat noisy. I just got a juno 106 and it's a little noisy.

As for THE noise, i would first check if THE output pots are ok....check THE service notes
