Native Instruments 4CONTROL

Native Instruments 4CONTROL Image

4CONTROL is a compact four-knob MIDI controller designed for Dynamo and Reaktor as well as other MIDI devices. 4CONTROL has only four knobs and two buttons which is very little compared to other similar products (PhatBoy, Knobby, Control Freak). But it's 4CONTROL's integration with Dynamo and Reaktor that make it such a cool device.

Each of the four knobs can be assigned to one of the many parameters in Dynamo or Reaktor. These endless rotary knobs allow for jump-free control of parameters. You can tweak up to four continuous parameters and two buttons simultaneously (rather than one at a time using your computer's mouse). Assignment of the knobs has been made so easy that you can make the connection between a knob and the currently needed parameter on the fly. A single MIDI cable provides power and communication between the 4CONTROL with Dynamo and Reaktor. An included utility (currently for the PC only) enables the 4CONTROL to produce MIDI signals. That means 4CONTROL can be used with other MIDI applications. 4CONTROL is almost an essential tool for any serious musicians already using Dynamo or Reaktor.
