The Sequencer is where you record and edit notes, controllers, device parameter automation and pattern changes. It has two main modes, the arrange view (shown) and the edit view. In arrange mode you can grab chunks or bars of data in each track to move, cut, copy, paste and more with ease. In the edit view you have detailed editing of notes, pattern changes, controller data, etc. While recording, any changes you make from the front-panel controls of any device in Reason will show up in the sequencer. You can then fine-tune and tweak every parameter from the sequencer for precision control and automation!

The Transport is where you control the songs you will create with Reason. Basic Play, Stop, FF, Rew and Record functions are at the center and have the genuine look of studio gear! The Global Pattern Shuffle control is also located in the Transport for adjusting the amount of shuffle in your Reason rack. The transport is also a source for information about the current song position, tempo, time signatures, CPU usage, audio out clipping and more. You can also set loop points for the sequencer track, engage the click track, override any automation, and Enable/Disable MIDI sync and inputs. The Transport will always be located at the bottom of every Reason rack and only 1 can be created per rack.
