Moog Multimoog
The Multimoog was the big brother to the Micromoog. It's a classic monophonic synth that features 2 oscillators, a ribbon controller, variable waveforms, flexible sample and hold, LFO, aftertouch (for pitch, VCF, or LFO rate) and a great sounding 24dB Moog filter. Like the Micromoog, the Multimoog was designed to be a cheaper alternative to the Minimoog. It is used by Underworld.

Polish band Kombi uses Multimoog to making bass line in songs : Słodkiego Miłęgo życia, Kochać cię za późno, and many other ;)
Also used by Saga, Frontline Assembly, Telex, Johan Timman, Stevie Winwood, Joel Fajerman, Skinny puppy, The Moog Cookbook, Richard Tandy (E.L.O.) etc.
I bought mine new back in 1979. Not only does it have a very fat and controllable sound, the aftertouch is the most expressive I've ever played. Used it a lot through the 80s and its been in the studio since. It's been on all but one of my CDs. The aftertouch on mine is getting flakey, though. I am really thinking about rebuilding, just because there is nothing else like it. Variable resistance under each key by changing the tension on a wire. When I'm on it, I feel like I'm plugged into the filters: ear, brain, filter, all one.
I own one of the (less than) 1000. Found it at a little used instrument store for $150 back in the mid-90s. It's not in the best condition (the foam under a few of the keys is a bit lacking, and the outer housing itself is loose from the rest of the unit), but it works like a charm.
Jim Crichton of Saga used a Multimoog to do bass lines on a lot of the band's early material, e.g., "Time's Up".
