The RM1x is a great new pattern based instant dance music machine! It sounds great! The patterns are perfect and inspiring forms of trance, house, hardcore and more with tons of great analog-like sounds and drum kits. The RM1x also features plenty of effects, filters, knobs, and MIDI control. The patterns have a whopping 16 parts (that you can drop-in or out in real-time performances) for lavish and professional productions. Making dance music has never been easier!

For those of you who want to get a little deeper into creating your own tracks, patterns and sounds, there is more. As if the awesome preset patterns aren't enough for you, creating your own 'phrases' is easy. You can modify a phrase's variation, instruments, sounds, tempo, filtering, LFO, and effects until you've morphed it into something of your own. Then store it into one of the 50 user patches. Creating an entire song is also pretty easy. Knobs, mutes, and patterns can be changed on the fly or meticulously programmed in. For the best all-in-one music box that will make you famous for a day - chose the RM1x over the rest! It is used by Apollo 440, Crystal Distortion, and Signal Electrique.

I love my RM1X, I'm never getting rid of it. I've had so much fun with it that I'm now saving up for a yamaha rs7000. I really like the sounds and drums on it. It is a little weak in the effects department but that has never really bothered me. It has an great and intuitive user interface. It's one of the best sequencers ever made and it works great with rackmount synths and samplers. For the price it really can't be beat. I payed 189 dollars for mine. I replaced my old electribe emx for my rm1x, the faulty data knobs that alot of the emx's and esx's have was just a deal breaker for me.

Got one off ebay for ~$130. I really like it. A helpful tip: By default, the voices are 100% dry and will sound like garbage as you're auditioning them. When picking a sound, add some chorus and reverb and it will sound a million times better. I have a feeling this is the reason people say the RM1x as having crappy sounds.

Been mostly reliant on my Korg Triton, Logic and Arturia Laboratory kit until a good bud turned me on (and hooked me up!) with one of these beauties recently. Amazing machine, and can be had for next to nothing. Deeper and darker than you can probably imagine, right out of the box.
