Erica Synths has announced that their PĒRKONS HD-01 Drum Machine is now available to pre-order. Erica Synths describes PĒRKONS, named after the Baltic god of thunder, as a drum machine and synthesizer that will change your approach to electronic rhythm synthesis.

PĒRKONS features a digital sound engine and analog multimode filter with overdrive for four hybrid voices, eight controls per voice, and external trigger inputs for each voice. It also has individual voice inputs, individual FX sends and returns, as well as Master FX send and return. In terms of memory, it has 64 kit and 64 pattern memory, with additional memory available on the SD card. Users also have access to built-in BBD emulation and a compressor. PĒRKONS has a modulation LFO with morphing waveforms that allow for up to eight modulation destinations per voice. Its four-track sequencer has four-time divisions and four-time multiplications per track. It also offers per-step ratchets and probabilities, while shuffle and groove settings are available for each track. Finally, it has both MIDI IN and MIDI OUT.
