New versions and updates were recently released for a few software products, including Logic Pro by Apple and Oddity by GForce Software.
First up is the 10.7.5 update for Logic Pro, which features free tempo recording and other smart tempo enhancements. On macOS 13 or later, the software now also supports Personalized Spatial Audio for a more precise immersive audio experience. In addition, the update adds Ableton Link support, which is a protocol that synchronizes the beat, phase, and temp of Link-activated applications on the same computer and over a shared network. MIDI plug-ins can now also be recorded, which Apply states allows for precise editing of the resulting notes and controller data. Thanks to a new Gain tool, users can now quickly and easily adjust the gain of audio regions in the Tracks area. Upgrading to 10.7.5 allows for nested track stats in both folder stacks and summing stacks, adding more flexibility and organization for projects. Another highlight is using the 35 individual stompboxes included in Pedalboard as individual plug-ins on audio and software instrument tracks. Finally, along with various miscellaneous enhancements, Logic Pro 10.7.5 includes two new sound packs, makes improvements to organization in the plug-in manager and imports 32-bit float audio files natively.
