New versions and updates were recently released for a few software products, including Logic Pro by Apple and Oddity by GForce Software.

First up is the 10.7.5 update for Logic Pro, which features free tempo recording and other smart tempo enhancements. On macOS 13 or later, the software now also supports Personalized Spatial Audio for a more precise immersive audio experience. In addition, the update adds Ableton Link support, which is a protocol that synchronizes the beat, phase, and temp of Link-activated applications on the same computer and over a shared network. MIDI plug-ins can now also be recorded, which Apply states allows for precise editing of the resulting notes and controller data. Thanks to a new Gain tool, users can now quickly and easily adjust the gain of audio regions in the Tracks area. Upgrading to 10.7.5 allows for nested track stats in both folder stacks and summing stacks, adding more flexibility and organization for projects. Another highlight is using the 35 individual stompboxes included in Pedalboard as individual plug-ins on audio and software instrument tracks. Finally, along with various miscellaneous enhancements, Logic Pro 10.7.5 includes two new sound packs, makes improvements to organization in the plug-in manager and imports 32-bit float audio files natively. Visit the official website for the complete list of new features and enhancements (https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/logicpro/lgcp87c3975f/mac). A free 90day trial version of Logic Pro is also available for download (https://www.apple.com/logic-pro/trial/).

GForce Software has released Oddity3, which adds a wave of enhancements to the software. In addition to adding more than 250 new presets to the program, bringing the total up to more than 1250, Oddity3 now also features a powerful new preset browser. In addition, it has a fully-scalable user interface with three authentic skins, four programmable macros for easy manipulation of sounds, a vintage knob for authentic analog imperfect, and programmable aftertouch along with expanded velocity controls.

Registered owners of Oddity or Oddity2 can upgrade to Oddity3 by logging into their account and adding Oddity3 to their basket, where a discount will be applied before checkout. A trial version of Oddity3 is also available to test the instrument on your system (https://gforcesoftware.com/products/oddity3/).
