VMIX-10 Is a Compact Mixer For Volcas By Tangible Waves

Post date:

Tangible Waves, known for their low-cost modular synth, the AE Modular, has turned its attention to mixers with the release of the VMIX-10. It is a portable mixer made especially with the Korg Volca series in mind. While the VMIX-10 is not the first mixer for Volcas, the one made by Korg didn't make much of an impact, and the Vixen by KVGear is no longer available for purchase.

The VMIX-10 features an identical case size to the Volca series, which means it will fit precisely in the Volca stands available from different suppliers. It also includes a power supply adaptor with snap-on plugs for the EU, UK, and US.

In terms of features, the VMIX-10 boasts six mono input channels with minijack sockets each. It also has two stereo input channels with stereo minijack sockets for each and click-free mute buttons per channel. In addition, it has per channel level, pan and two FX-send knobs, two FX send-return sections (send mono, return stereo) and master level control. Finally, it has a stereo headphone output with separate level control.

The VMIX-10 is available for €145.00 from the Tangible Waves website (https://www.tangiblewaves.com/store/p161/VMIX-10.html), but due to the immense demand, the first batch has already been sold out. Tangible Waves have stated, however, that a new, bigger production run is in the making and that they expect a finishing date of mid-April.
