According to AJH synth, the one thing that every modular system needs is modulation sources to add variety and interest to static sounds. To assist with this, they have released the brand new Tap Tempo VC-LFO, which they describe as a "modulation powerhouse."

While creating the Tap Tempo, AJH Synth compiled a wish list of useful features. However, in addition to the obvious ones such as CV control of Frequency, Tap Tempo, Unipolar and Bipolar outputs, along with a wide range of waveforms, they also came up with a few more. These include waveform twist, rate multiplication, Sync In/Out, and an inbuilt dual VCA for modulation level control. To take it beyond the realm of regular LFO's they also made sure that voltage control and automation were available for every feature. 

From a design standpoint, Tap Tempo features a very clear, intuitive, and uncluttered front panel. AJH Synth placed all the jack sockets in the two rows at the bottom and separate inputs to the left and outputs on the right-hand side.
