Post date:

Synth enthusiasts who follow Black Corporation on Instagram will already know that they announced Deckard's Voice; a Eurorack version of their Deckard's Dream. Deckard's Voice will share the same paradigm and circuit as Deckard's Dream, but obviously trimmed down for Eurorack and supplemented with the flexibility inherent with the modular format.

The features for this entry -evel semi-modular synth include VCO with pulse, glitch saw and sine outputs, dedicated LFO for PWN, noise source and external audio input to a filter. It will also have discrete hi-pass and low-pass filters with resonance and IL-AL-ADR envelope, LFO with sine, saw, ramp, square, smooth and stepped random output, and master and line level outputs. For a full list of features, take a look at the official page (https://www.deckardsdream.com/specs) for Deckard's Voice. This synth is expected to ship in November of this year and a $199 preorder deposit is required with the remaining balance of $500 payable when the product is ready for shipping http://www.deckardsdream.com/product/deckards-voice-preorder.

Continuing with the Bladerunner theme, Black Corporation also announced Rachael, which is set to release simultaneously with Deckard's Voice. However, this companion add-on will apparently also work well with other modules. According to the Instagram post (https://www.instagram.com/p/B1ON8_TBdhh/), Rachael is a ring modulator with its own reference oscillator and envelope generator. Rachael also works as an independent ADSR, LFO, or VCO to extend the possibilities of Deckard's Voice or any other modular system. Unfortunately, Black Corporation has not released any further information, such as the expected price, so for now, fans will have to wait and see.
