Siel Mono Image

The Siel Mono is an analog monophonic Italian synthesizer. Although it may seem inconspicuous it is surprisingly good. It is an Italian made synth so it sounds unique. A simple monophonic synthesizer with a simple and intuitive design. Relatively cheesy construction and little sliders for editing plenty of filter, envelope, LFO and oscillator parameters. It features a joystick for pitch bend manipulation and protamento over one octave. Although the Siel won't win any beauty or popularity contests, its unique and warm sound make it an inexpensive alternative to more mainstream and more than familiar monosynths like the Roland SH-101, Minimoog and so on.

I had the polyfonic version "Cruise" actually you could switch to use it as a mono as well.... still have the electronical cirquitboard papers... (strange they included that with the manual)

picked mine up years ago and can't really let it go. great for pads and it's loaded up with plenty of analog blips and bloops especially once you get a hold of those sliders.

the switches are pretty basic but great to get some instant tonal changes. lovely filters on this italian job as well!

The oscillator is an DCO not VCO!
