The Chemical Brothers Donated Their Roland TB-03 To Raise Money For Stage Crew Charity

Post date:

t's easy to forget that it is not musicians that are struggling due to the current pandemic, but also stage crews. Live entertainment simply would not be possible without their hard work. However, for most of them, there have been no shows since March, which has left stage techs, sound engineers, guitar techs, keyboard techs, drum techs, stage managers, production managers, tour managers, and many other live support personal without a steady income. The Chemical Brothers have stepped up in aid of Stagehand's #LoveLive campaign to raise money for UK stage crew who have been affected by the pandemic.

To encourage people to support the campaign The Chemical Brothers donated their Roland TB03 Synthesizer from their touring show. Participants only need to donate £5 or more for a prize draw entry and multiple entries are allowed. The TB-03 is in perfect working order and still has the original stickers from their touring set-up. According to The Chemical Brothers, it is one of their favorite pieces of live gear. However, Tom and Ed added that since they have not been able to use it on the road this year it seemed like a suitable fund-raiser for music crew and technicians.

Time is running out to purchase entries as it will only remain open until Thursday 17th December 2020. The winner will then be announced on Wednesday 23rd December. Visit the official Crowdfunder page (https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/win-the-chemical-brothers-synthesizer) to show your support and maybe even get your hands on a one-of-a-kind prize if you are lucky. The page also has more information about how to enter the prize draw and where the money is going.
