KORG has teamed up with Bjooks, publisher of PUSH TURN Move and the Patch & Tweak series, for a new limited edition bundle. They are describing it as a synth exploration experience and it combines the NTS-2 with the Patch & Tweak with KORG book. The NTS-2 is a powerful new tool optimized for a variety of studio tasks while the book features a comprehensive look at semi-modular synthesis. Patch & Tweak with KORG is filled with artist interviews, patch tips, tutorials, historical explorations, and much more. However, the book will also teach readers how to use the NTS-2 as a companion to other synthesizers and audio gear. It is aimed at both synth beginners and seasoned musicians for a journey that is not just educational, but also inspirational.

According to KORG, the Nu:Tekt NTS-2 is a DIY multifunctional tool for musicians. It makes it easy for users to monitor and analyze audio and Control Voltage signals alike using a 4-channel oscilloscope. In addition, it has a flexible waveform generator and spectrum analyzer along with tuner functions. It complements Patch & Tweak with KORG quite nicely as the book is a comprehensive guide to semi-modular synthesis and the music that it has inspired. Readers just need to keep an eye open for the NTS-2 icon in the book to find a wide variety of tips and tricks that uses its many functions.

The NTS-2 kit is compact but has to be assembled by users. Fortunately, no soldering is needed and according to KORG, it can be done in less than 20 minutes. For those who are still unsure about the assembly process, check out the video below for some tips.

Despite being pocket-sized the NTS-2 includes a variety of useful studio functions. It can be powered by either batteries or a USB-C power supply to maximize portability and flexibility.
