Pro Soloist

Price: $69.00 (Regular Price) / $49.00 (Introductory Price)

Cherry Audio has released Pro Soloist, the latest virtual instrument in their ultimate “what if?” roster. Pro Soloist is based on the ARP synthesizer of the same name from 1972 but goes far beyond simple emulation. According to Cherry Audio, it exactingly reproduces the expressive controls, 30 presets, and the unique underlying architecture of the original hardware. However, the virtual instrument is also fully programmable, has full polyphony, supports splits and layers, adds a mod matrix, and comes with integrated studio-quality effects, to name just a few new features.

Pro Soloist is available for macOS and Windows. It is also available as part of Synth Stack 4, which is a collection of 22 Chery Audio virtual instruments. This includes 19 emulations of classic vintage synthesizers along with three original synths and a modular synthesizer platform.

Eventide Audio has released DeBoom and Sheen Machine, two new entries that make use of their patented Structural Split™ technology. Sheen Machine, on the other hand, makes it easy to accentuate the “airy” quality of any signal without adding any sibilance or harshness. Both plug-ins can be used to repair, reshape, or enhance audio and are compatible with Windows 8+ or macOS 10.9+.
