Synthesizer hardware is not cheap, but a few lucky people might be able to get their hands on some new goodies thanks to a few giveaways and raffles that are currently active. First up are Sequential, Novation, and Focusrite which are offering people the opportunity to win a synth recording bundle. Up for grabs is a Sequential Take 5, which is a full-featured subtractive compact and portable five-voice VCO/VC-based poly synth. From Novation there’s a Circuit Rhythm, which is a versatile standalone sampler and drum machine while Focusrite is throwing in a Scarlett 18i20 USB audio interface. Those interested have until Tuesday, November 7th, 2023 to enter. The winner will be notified by Tuesday, November 14th, 2023. 

Next up is the Bob Moog Foundation, which is holding a raffle for a vintage Memorymoog Plus that belonged to Dominic Milano, the former editor of Keyboard Magazine. The synth, which is valued at $15,000 has been fully restored and is also signed by Milano. He received the Memorymoog Plus as a partial payment for writing the manual in the mid-eighties and has owned it exclusively since then. Also included with the instrument is an original Memorymoog manual inscribed to the winner by Milano.

Tickets for the raffle are available at $24 each, 5 for $100, 12 for $200, and 34 for $500. The raffle ends on Monday, November 6, 2023, or when all 5,000 of the available tickets are sold. Proceeds from the raffle will benefit the Bob Moog Foundation.
